Certified translation
& Apostille

A certified translation is an official translation that has been confirmed by a professional translator to ensure accuracy and validity.

Certified Translation

Incase you have birth certificate, marriage certificate, bank statement, police clearance certificate or any other related documents which are in NON English/ Welsh, should be accompanied by certified translations. Certified translation which states that written translation is an accurate and true translation of the original is a necessity to file visa application for English speaking countries. Documents like birth certificate, marriage certificate, educational certificate etc. This is a strict requirement and if the Home Office or overseas embassy/visa post can’t read a document they will not accept it. This can lead to your visa application being refused for not having a translated document.

Important note: Never translate document by yourself, your friend, your known, or by any tools. Such translations may not be accurate version pf the original and may contain errors. Also, self made translations are not accepted by any VISA application department or Embassies.

Apostille

When a translation is to be used in another country, you need to have an Apostille done. This process is called legalization. Legalization, this means that the document is legalized so it could be used internationally under the terms of the “1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents.” A certified translation of a document only needs an Apostille so it can be used as a legal document in countries that are parties to the 1961 Hague Convention.
